2026 Portland Special Guests

  • Lindsay - Schitt.To.Shine Influencer / Creator / Artist / Designer

Hola my mini lovin folk!! My name is Lindsay (@schitt.to.shine) and I'm so excited to be a guest this year at the Portland show! Aside from my creative endeavors,  I am a fire wife and mother to four top notch humans. I never knew this miniature world existed, until I started redoing furniture in 2020. I stumbled upon a broken, sticker filled dollhouse and thought...I wonder if I could redo that and add a dollhouse to my list of shined schitt! I was hooked!I found my creativity flowed best in redoing dollhouse furniture and turning bags of random things found thrifting into dollhouse wonders! I was recently featured in Flea Market Decor magazine, the summer edition, for my plastic toy flips...my hope is to inspire different perspectives when looking at even a simple child's toy! I can't wait to meet more miniature loving friends and take in all of what Portland has to offer!

  • Miriam Stone Wilson | Miniature Werewolf Artist / Diorama Maker / Visual Storyteller

My name is Miriam Stone Wilson, and online I’m known as Miniature Werewolf. I’m a Seattle-area miniaturist, diorama artist, and visual storyteller who creates tiny scenes that are joyful, strange, funny, and just a little off. My love of miniatures started early, encouraged by parents who built several dollhouses and helped me see the magic in tiny worlds. During the pandemic, I reconnected with that childhood love and began building the work that became Miniature Werewolf. I work mostly in 1:12 scale with materials like wood, clay, paint, leather, paper, and found objects. My work explores what I call “optimistic darkness,” using humor, surrealism, and social critique to create miniature spaces that invite people to look closer. One of my best-known pieces is a miniature post office hidden inside a parcel locker, featuring an octopus postmaster named Wanda. That diorama went viral and introduced my work to a wider audience, but it also taught me something deeper: how much delight hidden art and “sidewalk joy” spots can bring to people in everyday places. The name Miniature Werewolf comes from my large, evolving project, The Werehouse, a semi-autobiographical retelling of Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf staged inside a dollhouse. In my version, Red Riding Hood is the werewolf, and the story explores identity, personal transformation, and the strange power of becoming yourself. I’m excited to be part of the show as a guest and to share my tiny, story-filled worlds with the miniature community!
